TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.0 DEFINITIONS
1.1 BOOKMAKER – The bookmaker is CyberSportsBet account
holder with the bookmaker, or any person acting on behalf of the client.
1.3 SERVICES – Services shall mean all services supplied by the bookmaker to the
client and includes any advice or recommendations.
2.0 CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
2.1 The “Client” is a person who must be 18 years or older and has an account
(Client Wagering Account) with the Bookmaker.
2.2 It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that they keep their Personal
Identification Number (PIN) and security details confidential.
2.3 Clients will be responsible for all wagers in which their user-name and
security details are used for any activity on their client betting account
unless they have notified the bookmaker prior of a problem.
2.4 Any bet (wager) made via the internet, where the user name and security
details have been used, will be regarded by the bookmaker as being valid and the
client cannot change, cancel or modify the bet (wager).
3.0 RIGHTS RESERVED BY THE BOOKMAKER (CYBERSPORTSBET) & LIABILITY
3.1 The Bookmaker reserves the right to refuse any bet or part of a bet without
giving a reason at any time.
3.2 The Bookmaker reserves the right to close a client’s client wagering account
and refund the balance of their account without further explanation.
3.2.1 In this event, outstanding bets will be honoured, unless the client
betting account has been used for any fraudulent transaction or purpose where
outstanding bets will be void.
3.3 The Bookmaker reserves the right to change, amend or add to these Terms and
Conditions as it sees fit without providing further notice other than posting
the current Terms and Conditions on the website (www.CyberSportsBet.net).
3.3.1 It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure they are up to date with the
current Terms and Conditions of betting.
3.4 A Client is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions by opening an
account or by placing a bet with the Bookmaker via the www.CyberSportsBet.net website.
3.5 Clients can view the Privacy Policy on the www.CyberSportsBet.net website, or
request this in writing (via email only).
3.6 Notwithstanding anything contained elsewhere in these rules, if the
Bookmaker publishes, posts or quotes any incorrect betting information for any
racing event, such as posting wrong dividends or lines, or allowing related
bets, then regardless of the cause or source of such error;
a) In an instance as such, when the error is identified prior to the race and
the client is notified of the error, the erroneous bet/s will be void.
b) If the error is identified at, or after the conclusion of the race, then the
bet shall stand
c) If the case is that the price was incorrect, due to human or computer error,
then the price shall be adjusted to the correct closing price per the market.
d) If the bookmaker can prove that the error was manifest or obvious, or that
the customer should have reasonably been aware of the error upon placing the
bet, the bet will be cancelled.
e) If a client has been paid on these winnings by error, the bookmaker reserves
all rights to reverse the funds so that the client is in the same position as if
the error had not occurred.
3.7 The Bookmaker has made reasonable efforts to ensure its racing betting
business operates in a fair, prompt and accurate manner. Save to the extent
permitted by law (and only to such an extent), the Bookmaker excludes all
representations and warranties (express or implied) relating to its racing
betting business and shall not have any liability for direct, indirect or
consequential loss, damage, expense or injury suffered by any Client (including
any technical system failure related to the operation of the website
www.CyberSportsBet.net).
3.8 The Bookmaker’s liability in respect of any claim or loss shall be limited
in amount to the relevant bet placed by a Client.
3.9 The Bookmaker reserves the right to void any or all bets made by any
individual or group of people acting together in an attempt to defraud the
Bookmaker. This can include persons, relatives, organisations, bookmakers and
their employees.
3.9.1 The Bookmaker reserves the right to refuse any wager based on bet type,
event or venue.
3.9.2 The Bookmaker can cease to accept bets at anytime from any client for any
given reason.
3.9.3 The Bookmaker can decline or reduce any bets at anytime from any client
for any given reason.
4.0 JURISDICTION
4.1 The Bookmaker does not represent or warrant that participation in bets or
wagers complies with the legal requirements of any country.
4.2 Clients must satisfy for themselves (and assume full responsibility for) the
legality of:
a) Applying to the Bookmaker for a Client Wagering Account;
b) Remitting funds by credit card or other permitted means to a Client Betting
Account held with the Bookmaker;
c) Placement of bets or wagers with the Bookmaker; and,
d) Receiving winnings from the Bookmaker.
4.3 If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be invalid, void,
illegal or unenforceable the validity, existence, legality and enforceability of
the remaining provisions shall not be affected, prejudiced or impaired.
4.4 All Services supplied by the Bookmaker are subject to the laws of the South
American Country of Costa Rica and the Bookmaker takes no responsibility for
changes in the law which affects the Services supplied.
5.0 CLIENT IDENTIFICATION
5.1 The Bookmaker reserves the right to withhold funds from clients who have not
completed the identification process; funds are released as soon as this process
has been completed.
5.2 CyberSportsBet is required by the Costa Rican government to make sure all of its
clients are over the age of 18.
5.3 CyberSportsBet requires all clients to complete the identification form signed and
returned via e-mail with a copy of 100 points of identification showing clients
date of birth and current address.
5.4.1 The identification form must be received within 90 days of the first wager
on the account.
5.4.2 Clients will not be able to make any withdrawals from the betting account
until the identification form is completed and returned.
5.4.3 If the client fails to supply CyberSportsBet with 100 points of identification
within the 90 day period, CyberSportsBet will void all wagers placed, all wagers will
be cancelled and funds will be refunded to its original source.
5.4.4 The identification form can be downloaded from the deposits/withdrawals
page on our website.
6.0 BETTING
6.1 The minimum bet via the Internet is $1 for racing bets.
6.2 The maximum bet via the Internet is $2000 combined for win and place (eg:
$1500win and $500place)
6.2.1 Clients may apply for an increased (combined win & place) maximum bet by
simply emailing an application to limits@cybersportsbet.net
6.3 Bets will be accepted up to one minute before the advertised start time of
the event or such earlier time as dictated by the Bookmaker specified on the
website at the event page.
6.3.1 If a bet is inadvertently accepted in respect of an event after its start
time, the bet shall be deemed to have been made invalidly and will be refunded
to the Client.
6.4 When making a wager via the Internet a bet is accepted when the bet is
processed through the www.CyberSportsBet.net website.
6.4.1 In this instance, a Client receives a “Confirmation” message/receipt, as
well as the option to receive this message/receipt via email.
6.5 There are no multiple bets.
6.6 All wagers in the South Pacific region (Australasia) are in Australian
dollars (AUD).
7.0 WINNINGS
7.1 Winnings will be credited to a Client’s Betting Account following
confirmation of the final result.
7.2 Should funds be credited to a Client’s Betting Account in error, it is the
Client’s responsibility to notify the
Bookmaker of the error without delay and the Client shall return to the
Bookmaker any funds credited in error.
7.3 If the client does not notify the bookmaker, and the bookmaker is aware of
the error, the bookmaker will notify the client and the funds shall be refunded
to the bookmaker, either by the client or bookmaker.
8.0 CLIENT BETTING ACCOUNTS
8.1 A Client may only have one (1) Client Betting Account unless otherwise
agreed to by the Bookmaker.
8.2 Each Client will be issued a Client Betting Account before bets or wagers
are accepted.
8.3 Clients should check their Client Account Balance each time they log on to
their Client Betting Account.
8.4 In the event of a query, it is the Client’s responsibility to notify the
Bookmaker at the earliest opportunity
providing the Client’s own record of transactions since the Client Account
Balance was last verified.
9.0 ACCEPTANCE
9.1 Any instructions received by the Bookmaker from the Client for the supply of
Services and/or the Client’s acceptance Services supplied by the Bookmaker shall
constitute acceptance of the terms and conditions contained herein.
9.2 By opening a client betting account, the client is deemed to have accepted
all of the CyberSportsBet terms and conditions.
9.3 Upon acceptance of these terms and conditions by the Client the terms and
conditions are irrevocable and can only be rescinded in accordance with these
terms and conditions or with the written consent of the manager of the
Bookmaker.
9.4 None of the Bookmaker’s agents or representatives are authorised to make any
representations, statements, conditions or agreements not expressed by the
manager of the Bookmaker in writing nor is the Bookmaker bound by any such
unauthorised statements.
10.0 CHANGE OF CLIENT DETAILS
10.0 The Client undertakes to give the Bookmaker not less than fourteen (14)
days prior written notice of any proposed change in the Client’s name and/or any
other change in the Client’s details (including but not limited to, changes in
the Client’s address, facsimile number, or business practice).
11.0 CANCELLATION
11.1 The Bookmaker may cancel these terms and conditions or cancel delivery of
Services at any time before the Services are delivered by giving written notice.
11.1.1 The Bookmaker shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
arising from such
cancellation (posting on website).
12.0 GENERAL
12.1 The Bookmaker shall be under no liability whatsoever to the Client for any
indirect loss and/or expense
(including loss of profit) suffered by the Client arising out of a breach by the
Bookmaker of these terms and conditions.
12.2 In the event of any breach of this contract by the Bookmaker the remedies
of the Client shall be limited to damages. Under no circumstances shall the
liability of the Bookmaker exceed the Price of the Services.
12.3 The Bookmaker reserves the right to review these terms and conditions at
any time and from time to time. If, following any such review, there is to be
any change in such terms and conditions, that change will take effect from the
date on which the Bookmaker notifies the Client of such change.
DEPOSITS AND WITHDRAWALS
1.0 DEPOSITS
CREDIT CARD
In order for clients to use the credit card method of depositing funds into
their CyberSportsBet wagering account, they must provide CyberSportsBet with 100 points of
identification no later than 48hrs (two working days) after the transaction. If
a client fails to do so and there is deemed to have been any fraudulent
activity, CyberSportsBet will void all wagers placed as a result of the transaction
and the funds will be refunded to the credit card debited.
The credit card method of depositing funds is currently unavailable. We
apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused.
DIRECT DEPOSIT / INTERNET TRANSFER
In order for clients to use the direct deposit / internet transfer method of
depositing funds into their CyberSportsBet wagering account, they must clearly state
their wagering accounts’ identification number on either the deposit slip, or in
the reference area of the internet transfer. CyberSportsBet may also require a receipt
to be scanned and sent via email to accounts@cybersportsbet.net. Once it is confirmed
of the funds whereabouts, the clients wagering account will be credited
immediately.

1.0 WITHDRAWLS
DIRECT DEPOSIT / INTERNET TRANSFER
To withdraw funds via the direct deposit / internet transfer method, clients may
only use one of the originally nominated bank accounts. These accounts are
nominated by the client when the client first activates their CyberSportsBet wagering
account. In order to change one or both of the banking account details to a
different bank account, the client must provide CyberSportsBet with 100 points of
identification. This is part of CyberSportsBet’s security system which is designed to
protect the client’s privacy and money. Once a withdrawal request is submitted,
CyberSportsBet will endeavour to deposit the funds into the client’s bank account
within 72hrs (three working days).
CHEQUE
To withdraw funds via the receipt of a cheque the clients must send a request to
accounts@cybertab.net stating their account number, their full name and the
amount the client would like to withdraw. CyberSportsBet will issue the cheque to the
account holder and the account holder only. An account holder cannot request a
cheque to be issued in a name other than the account holders. This is part of
the CyberSportsBet client protection program. Once the client has been identified,
they will receive the cheque via the post within seven (7) working days. The
cheque will be sent to the verified address on the clients wagering account and
it is the client’s responsibility to make sure all of their information is
up-to-date.
